Being poor constitutes not having the enough resources to buy the enough food
necessary to survive within the day. Poverty is a major problem in many
societies and chronic hunger is a result of this situation. People are
malnourished and sometimes starve to death due to the scarcity of food as a
basic commodity. There are many government agencies and organizations involved
in eliminating this situation, however, due to lack of self-responsibility this
issue still prevails.
