Quakers fought for religious freedom. The Quakers (Religiuos Society of Friends) demanded that the permitted to practice their religion in Massachussetss. Quakers, unwelcomed in new England, bwecause their unfavorable views of Anglican church, looked to settle in another places, such as the Ducth administered lands.
