Imagine a story told from the point of view of a student who gives a presentation to a large assembly.He stutters and forgets his words several times. If that student were describing the event from his point of view, he might talk about how embarrassing it was

In a story the narrator is all you have, so if the narrator is first person the events will probably be described more detailed compared to if it were told in 3rd person
