3 protons more because it lost 3 electrons

It would have 3 more protons because protons have a positive charge and electrons have a negative charge. To balance them out you would have to have the same amount of protons and electrons so the charge can be neutral. However, in this case, there is a positive charge of 3. so long story short the answer would again be 3 .
