So, here we have been given two base lengths of trapezoids.

The given lengths are = 16.8 yards and 6.9 yards.

The sum of the bases is = [tex]16.8+6.9[/tex] = 23.70 yards

Hence, average will be = [tex]\frac{23.70}{2}= 11.85[/tex] yards.
