6^5 divided by 6^3
I know the answer is 36 but I am not sure how to show my work

First of all you need to do it step by step.
how did you find 36.
6^5 = 7776  its like you multiply 6 by 6, 5 times it would give you that number
6^3 = 216      you multiply 6 by 6, 3 times it would give you that number.
and then you divided  7776 by 216  it should give you 36.
VOILA!!!!!   I hope you understand that.

Ok so expand the problem... 6^5 would be 6*6*6*6*6 which equals 7776 and 6^3 is 6*6*6 which equals 216. So now you take 7776 and divide it by 216 which equals 36.
