Why does argon boil at a higher temperature than neon since both are noble gases?

Argon has a smaller atomic radius and thus its particle is smaller than that of Neon. The smaller atom of argon leads to stronger forces of attraction than that of neon. This vanderwaals forces of attraction require a higher energy to break, thus the difference in the energy required to break them.
