Msl is nice, the benefits outweigh the negatives i think But the party selling the loader does have the frame mounts so they can buy the new loader without the frame mounts. Hey fellas, i decided to postpone my purchase of the 1025 because of 2 major upgrades to the 2020 1025 model year If the 220r msl has a significantly greater percentage of lift capacity than the 220r nsl then i'd ask the dealer to let me keep the nsl until the msl came in If the msl vs nsl lift capacity is about the same then i don't see any advantage to msl aside from making it easier to hold the load level. Msl i would want to try a grapple with msl first I use both circuits to collect, pile and pick up debris like limbs and such & i wouldn't want the self leveling mode trying to change the dump/curl angle Not saying it does as i've never used a msl loader on a small machine. Do you have the msl 220r
That would explain the increase, 50% increase in capacity will have a corresponding increase in required ballast
I agree with the others, a ballast box is the way to go, fill it with concrete and forget it The more msl loaders sold as an upgrade, the lower the value for the nsl loaders as there is an not an infinite number of people who can use the 220r
