1.6x-y=5--->equ.(i)

3x+4=y--->equ.(ii)

substitution method

6x-y=5

y=5+6x--->equ (iii)

Replace y=5+6x into equ--->(ii)

3x-5+6x=4

3x+6x=4+5

9x=9

divide both side by 9

9x/9=9/9

x=1

Replace x=1 into equ (iii)

6(1)-y=5

6-y=5

y=5+6

y=11

then your x and y is

x=1,y=11
